Got tired of researching rules & regs so headed off to the shed to finish of my brass grips.
Took ages (hours) to bore out to 7/8th due to the very light weight boring bar I had to use so lots of light cuts. Got there in the end.
Had to machine a hole in the end for the bar end mirrors clamping system to pass through. Didn't really like doing this but like having my bar end mirrors rather than stalk mirrors so got stuck into it.
Indexed the and marked out the position for the three grubs screws in the lathe then put it in a VEE block for drilling and tapping in the drill press.
The three 4mm Dia. grub screw locked the grip to the bars rock soild!
