Scrounging through the garage for scap and bits to use on my bike.
I found quite a few lengths of stainless steel tubing. (Scap thrown out at an old job, I scavenged).
Various useable diameters ½" ⅞", 1" with a wall thickness of 1.5mm
Shortest length is about 600mm and longest possibly 2m.
Right diameters for handle bars. Just got to find a way to bend it properly.
Don't have a tube bender and can't really justify buying one….. …..
Thought of packing it with sand maybe using a car jack to bend it………..
